Using the Payments block type you can spearhead fundraising efforts. Payments are collected through Stripe and/or Paypal. This page will take you through the Payment basics:
A Payment Block with Monthly and One Time payments and custom amounts
After creating a new block you can make your block a payment block by clicking the "Payment or Donation" in the Block Type drop down.
After creating your first Experience with a Payment block, you will see a notification on your Experience page prompting you to connect your Experience account with Stripe.
You will then be prompted to create/connect a Stripe account with one of two Stripe account options. If you already have an account you can connect it through those same options.
The Stripe account setup involves confirming your identity with your SS number and an ID card. Initially your account will be pending verification from Stripe, but soon your account will be verified and you are ready to receive payments through the app!
Using PayPal
If you desire to collect Payments with PayPal, you can check the PayPal box in the Payment Options of your Block's settings page. After clicking the checkbox, be sure to enter your PayPal account email into the box.
If you enable PayPal, responders will have option of paying with credit card (as always) or through PayPal.
Note that funds collected through PayPal will not show in the Experience exports or totals.
