Collect Formli submissions via text conversations

How it works

The Textbot feature increases Formli engagement by transforming an online form into a text conversation. Using Textbot, you can send your Formli as a text to multiple people at once, making it an easy way to spread your message.

This guide will help you generate a unique phone number and send your first Formli as a Textbot.

Step 1 - Generate your Textbot number

  1. Go to Account Settings

  2. Click Textbot Settings

  3. Click Generate New Number to get a new 10-digit code number

  4. Your new number will appear on the right side of the screen under "Active Numbers"

    Your generated phone numbers will always be in the account settings. The same number will be used whenever you send texts from Formli. If you have more than one number, texts will be randomly distributed across them all.

Step 2 - Send your Formli as a text

  1. Select a Formli you want to send via text

  2. Click …More, then Edit settings

  3. Select Textbot

  4. Add one or more recipient numbers

  5. Click Send Texts

  6. Confirm to send
